THESSALY. Pharsalos. Early 4th century BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 15 mm, 3.38 g, 9 h). Head of Athena to left, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla on the bowl. Rev. Φ-A/Σ-P Thessalian cavalryman riding horse prancing to right, brandishing his lagobolon above his head. BCD Thessaly II 66.2 var. Lavva 204. The reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
